MEET SANDIE

Painting from childhood, McCullough was trained at Santa Monica College and UCLA. Her work has won her awards at the Santa Monica Arts Festival, the International Arts Festival in Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Her touching and passionate black and white photographs of old Gold Mines, Ghost Towns, and Southwestern culture has won her an Honorable Mention with the New Mexico Magazine.

About her photography and printmaking McCullough says, “I have spent the last 50 years rambling the Southwest, defining the ever changing landscapes of the last century. I love the texture and light, the history and culture of days past. I then make photopolymer etching prints using an ink color that is in keeping with the enduring nature of the old Southwest.
